Every piece Alicia Geigel makes is built by hand and made to last, on a shelf, a table, a morning routine. Born in Puerto Rico and based in St. Petersburg, she shapes sculptural vessels, small animals, and functional objects from raw clay, drawn naturally to form, color, and texture. A self-taught artist and resident at the St. Petersburg Clay Center, every piece she makes is one of a kind.
